BANGKOK AMPHAWA CHIANG MAIPHUKET KHAO LAKE

Day 1 : INTERNATIONAL OUTBOUND FLIGHT

Today you will begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Bangkok.

Day 2 : BANGKOK

Your guide will be waiting for you at Bangkok Airport and will accompany you on your private transfer to your boutique hotel located on the banks of the Chao Phraya river.

Day 3 : BANGKOK

Today you will have a private guided tour of Bangkok visiting the capital`s key attractions: the Grand Palace, Wat Po (home to the reclining Buddha) and Jim Thompson`s house. You will get to use Bangkok`s different forms of public transport - the skytrain which winds its way through the skyscrapers and shopping malls, the public taxi boat, a long-tail boat and of course the infamous Thai tuk tuk! This is a fun excursion that will give you a fantastic insight into the capital as well as the people that call Bangkok home.

Day 4 : BANGKOK , AMPHAWA

Your guide will collect you today and accompany you on your private transfer to the pretty town of Amphawa, a journey of approx 1.5 hours. This area is famous for its authentic floating markets and traditional ways of life. Your guide will take you to visit the fascinating market stalls located on the railway tracks and to the floating market where you will also get to enjoy a fascinating boat ride through the narrow canals. The best time to visit is on the weekend when locals flock to the area to buy from the floating vendors.

Day 5 : AMPHAWA , BANGKOK , CHIANG MAI

Today you will return to Bangkok for your internal flight to the historical and colourful city of Chiang Mai, located in the north of Thailand. Your driver will be waiting for you at the airport to take you by private car to your hotel. You will have 3 nights to explore and enjoy Thailand's northern capital.

Day 6 : CHIANG MAI

Today your guide will take you to explore the main sights of Chiang Mai including the lost city of Wiang Kum Kam and the trading community of Wat Gatekaram. Through narrow alleyways and winding pathways best accessed with two-wheel transport, you will pass markets, temples and a vast array of unique "street life". Lunch will be taken at a traditional noodle cafe.

Day 7 : CHIANG MAI

Today you will have a free day to explore Chiang Mai. Late afternoon is a great time to visit Chiang Mai's most famous land-mark: the temple of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. This is one of Thailand's most important temples and has fantastic views of the city. In the evening you may like to visit the city's famous night bazaar.

Day 8 : CHIANG MAI , PHUKET , KHAO LAK

The beach part of your holiday starts today! After a morning at leisure our driver will collect you from your hotel and take you to the local airport for your internal flight to Phuket, a journey of approx 2 hours. At Phuket airport our driver will be waiting to take you to your lovely beach accommodation on the white sands of Khao Lak. The Ramada has a fantastic location along the beach from local restaurants, bars and markets.

Day 9 : KHAO LAK

Day at leisure. Your hotel has a lovely infinity pool, a spa and offers open-air Thai cooking classes. Bicycles to explore the area can be rented from the hotel and for young families there is a Kids Club.

Day 10 : KHAO LAK

Day at leisure. In addition to the beach there is plenty to do on Khao Lak and your time can be as busy or as relaxed as you like. The nearby Similan Islands are one of the world`s top dive sites and there are great snorkelling trips out to the Surin islands.

Day 11 : KHAO LAK

Day at leisure. You may like to consider a day trip to Pung Chang cave with its fascinating rock formations which is accessed via a bamboo raft and then head out on a long-tail boat to visit the famous James Bond Island!

Day 12 : KHAO LAK

Day at leisure at your beach location.

Day 13 : KHAO LAK

Today will be your last day by the beach before heading home.

Day 14 : KHAO LAK , PHUKET , BANGKOK , INTERNATIONAL RETURN FLIGHT

Your driver will collect you from the hotel for your private transfer to Phuket airport in time for your onward flights home. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
