Day 1 : ARRIVE LEH

On arrival at Leh airport, transfer to the hotel enroute take Inner line permit and transfer to hotel. Check-in in the hotel and rest for to get acclimatize with the high altitude in Leh (Ladakh) which is 3500 Mtrs above sea level. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2 : LEH SIGHTSEEING (VISIT SHEY + THIKSE + HEMIS MONASTERIES)

After early breakfast full day sightseeing of Shey, Thiksey & Hemis. Shey: was founded as the summer capital of Ladakh (then called Maryul), by the king Lhachen Palgyigon in the 10th century, with Leh being winter capital. It was gradually eclipsed by Leh around the 17th century after the growth of Central Asian trade. It contains a huge Shakyamuni Buddha statue (36Ft. high statue of Buddha made of copper and covered with gold.) It is the second largest Buddha statue in Ladakh. Thiksey : Thiksey Monastery or Thiksey Gompa is a Buddhist monastery affiliated with the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. It is located on top of a hill in Thiksey ... Hemis : Hemis Monastery is a Himalayan Buddhist monastery (gompa) of the Drukpa Lineage, in Hemis on the bank of Indus river, Ladakh, India. Evening return to Leh and overnight at Hotel.

Day 3 : LEH-PANGONG LAKE

After breakfast transfer to the Pangong Lake (located on the Indo-China Border), enroute crossing the Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.). After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight stay Pangong.

Day 4 : PANGONG-ALCHI

After breakfast, drive to visit 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh - a UNESCO listed heritage site. Alchi Monastery or Alchi Gompa is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery, known more as a monastic complex of temples in Alchi village in the Leh District, under the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council of the Ladakh Union Territory. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5 : LEH - KHARDONGLA PASS - LEH

After breakfast day excursion to Khardongla pass which is the highest motor able pass in the world 5600 Mtrs and has been recorded in the Gunnies Book of world records. Khardung La or Khardung Pass is a mountain pass in the Leh district of the Indian union territory of Ladakh. The pass is on the Ladakh Range, north of Leh, and connects the Indus river valley and the Shyok river valley. It also forms the gateway to the Nubra valley, beyond which lies the Siachen. At the top enjoy the nature beauty of snow capped mountains. Afternoon back leh and enjoy your personal shopping and explore market, Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa and surrounding. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 6 : LEH DEPARTURE

After breakfast transfer to the Leh airport to for your return flight
